The Guinea Fowl B&B in Greyton South Africa, has recently had an extensive revamp and redecoration to welcome its guests, both new and old. with an even higher level of hospitality and comfort. A popular weekend accommodation choice, Guinea Fowl Guest House and its friendly proprietors have made a name for themselves as a friendly, comfortable and value for money option to weekenders that want to experience the true country atmosphere of Greyton. Situated on the corner of Greyton’s popular, Ds Botha and Oak Streets, (where you will also find the famous Oak and Vigne Cafe) the Guinea Fowl Guest House is only a block or less away from several Greyton restaurants, art galleries, the Saturday Morning Market, curio shops and supermarkets.

The Guinea Fowl Bed & Breakfast in Greyton Facilities and Amenities:
The main house has four en-suite guest bedrooms, 3 upstairs and 1 downstairs. There is also one garden guest room, known as the Pool Room, which is situated in the back garden area and close to the swimming pool. All guest rooms have fans and wall heaters for those cold winter days in Greyton, South Africa. Tea and coffee facilities, toiletries and soaps are included in all our guest rooms. 3 upstairs bedrooms have a communal lounge with TV and DSTV, bar fridge and tea/coffee facilities. Extra single beds can be placed in 2 of the guest rooms, if requested. The swimming pool is situated in a shady garden and there is free Wi-Fi for guests. Guests can spend time on the front wrap around veranda, perhaps while enjoying a delicious breakfast (optional extra), or can retreat to the beautiful garden at the back of the property. The lush garden has sunny areas, small ponds and lovely large trees with several hidden away nooks where you can relax with a good book or just enjoy the views. You can also make use of the pool garden tables and chairs and umbrellas. There is also a newly built barbecue area in the garden. Up to 10 guests can be easily accommodated.

Guest Room Two - Downstairs Room
Room Two has a double bed, two bedside lamps, chest of drawers and hanging space for clothes in the closet. The room also has an on suite bathroom with toilet, basin and shower. This room is the only room accessible by wheelchair. The room sleeps two guests.

Going up the stairway you find the first floor lounge. This lounge is shared by the three first floor rooms. There is a television, small fridge and a coffee and tea station. Comfortable couches and a small bookshelf library as well as a large work table desk, if guests choose to catch up on some work while away. DSTV is available, but is shared between the televisions on the first and ground floors.

Guest Room Six - First Floor
The room has a double bed with bedside lamps and a couch and chaise lounge. A skylight above a small writing desk and chair makes this a light and airy room. There is a chest of drawers and closet with hanging space for clothes. The en-suite bathroom is equipped with towels and basic toiletries, a wash basin, a Victorian style bath under a skylight, and a toilet. The bedroom has an electric fan and wall heater. The room sleeps two guests.
Guest Room Four - First Floor
This quaint little room, with its large skylights, is especially suitable for single guests, as it has two or three beds (two single beds and one daybed). There is hanging and drawer space for clothes. The en-suite bathroom has a shower, wash basin and a toilet. Basic toiletries and towels are supplied. The room also has a wall heater and an electric fan.
Guest Room Three - First Floor
The largest of the rooms, Room Three can be accessed from a stairway on the side of the house or through the first floor lounge. This room has an entrance hall area, a separate bathroom and bedroom with a small lounge area. The bedroom has a double bed with bedside tables and lamps. There is a lounge chair as well as an extra single bed. There is closet hanging space for clothes and a dressing table and mirror. The room also has a skylight, electric fan and wall heater. The bathroom is supplied with basic toiletries and towels and is equipped with a bath, wash basin and a toilet. The room sleeps three guests.
Guest Room Five - Pool Room
This outside self-catering apartment has a small stoep with deck chairs overlooking the garden and pool. The room is furnished with a double bed and bedside tables as well as an extra single bed. There is a lounge chair and a small writing desk as well as a closet with hanging space and drawers for clothes. The room has a small wood stove type fire place and a wall heater. The bathroom is equipped with a toilet, basin and shower as well as basic toiletries and towels. The kitchenette has a double wash basin, a small fridge and coffee making facilities, as well as a microwave.

Cancellation Policy for The Guinea Fowl Guest House in Greyton
Where cancellation occurs:
A minimum charge of 10% is applicable to all refunds
If a booking is cancelled 30 or more days before arrival, 10% of full rate may be charged
If cancelled 21 – 29 days before arrival, 25% of full rate may be charged
If cancelled 14 – 20 days before arrival, 50% of full rate may be charged
If cancelled 7 – 13 days before arrival, 75% of full rate may be charged
If cancelled less than 7 days before arrival or in case of no-show, the total amount of full rate may be payable
Peak Season (1 November to 1 February) No deposits will be refunded unless we re-let the room/s for the same period.
