Greyton Farm Accommodation Aarde House Cottage

Aarde House is a recently restored Greyton farm accommodation cottage located on Elsenkloof Farm just 7km from Greyton on a good gravel road and can accommodate up to 6 guests. The mountains tower above it and the views are beautiful. It is a wonderful base for hiking, cycling, walking and bird watching, wedding and function guests and for those who just need peace and tranquility to recharge their batteries. Also on the farm situated just off the working farmyard is another cottage, called Fencers Cottage, that can sleep 2 guests comfortably in one large double room. A mountain stream runs fairly close to both cottages and there are great picnic sites under the oaks and guests can take a dip in the stream during the warmer Greyton weather months.
Aarde House farm accommodation cottage consists of:-
This Greyton farm accommodation has two twin rooms (two beds make a king size) and two bathrooms with a shower, toilet and basin. The spacious sitting room also has two separate beds/couches. A large fireplace in the open plan kitchen/dining area keeps it toasty in the cooler weather and there are outside braai facilities and eating area should you choose to enjoy the spectacular night skies. There is no electricity, but there is solar lighting and a gas geyser for plentiful hot water, gas fridge and two plate cooker. (No oven). The cottage is fully equipped with crockery/cutlery, pots and pans for self catering including linen - (apart from swimming towels.) including hot water bottles and extra blankets.
For groups seeking additional accommodation in Greyton, on the farm and situated just off the working farmyard, is Fencers Cottage, which can sleep 2 guests, and consists of two single beds that can make a king size bed; a bathroom with a shower, toilet and basin with a working fireplace and coffee facilities, microwave and bar fridge. Fencers farm cottage has no kitchen facilities. The cottage does have electricity and wood, for one fire, is provided for both cottages. Firewood can be purchased on the farm at R35 for a large bag.

Cancellation Policy for Aarde House and Fencers Greyton Farm Cottages
Where cancellation occurs:
A minimum charge of 10% is applicable to all refunds
If a booking is cancelled 30 or more days before arrival, 10% of full rate may be charged
If cancelled 21 – 29 days before arrival, 25% of full rate may be charged
If cancelled 14 – 20 days before arrival, 50% of full rate may be charged
If cancelled 7 – 13 days before arrival, 75% of full rate may be charged
If cancelled less than 7 days before arrival or in case of no-show, the total amount of full rate may be payable
Peak Season (1 November to 1 February) No deposits will be refunded unless we re-let the cottages for the same period.
