Nestled alongside the Riviersonderend river lies the perfect family retreat. Spinlea Farm boasts a quintessential cottage experience, without compromising on modern comfort.
The Goat Shed Studio and Cottage is totally off-grid and solar powered, with a gas geyser/stove/oven and slow combustion, wood-burning fireplace.

With unmatched views, the queen ensuite not only opens onto a generous patio, but at the near edge of your own dam. In addition, the futon beds in the lounge are perfectly suited for two children who will enjoy the fun activities the farm has to offer as well. A third child can sleep in the lounge on a futon. A middle studio area acts as a perfect function space for a hen’s party, small gatherings or workshops.

Custom events can be arranged such as flower picking, dried flower crown workshops and other creative group activities.
Enjoy a braai out back, while the kids enjoy a swim with the ducks, or a cuddle around the indoor fireplace. Additional farm activities, season permitting, include feeding baby goats and riding in a bakkie to find new babies. Guests enjoy full access to the 475-hectare farm for mountain biking and trail running, visiting horses, and walking through the flower lands. Picking flowers can be done by arrangement.

During season, guests can enjoy Saturday evening flower picking, which is open to the public. Spinlea Farm truly is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy some quality family time. As one of the only working Angora goat farms in the Western Cape, artisanal farm products such as: Extra virgin Olive oil, Raw honey, Classic mohair socks, Mohair boot socks and Mohair blankets Flower seeds. The products are available to pre-order and are offered to guests at a special rate.

Terms and Conditions
A 50% deposit is required within 10 days of making a booking in order to confirm same.
Failure to pay the deposit on or before deadline date will result in the booking being cancelled.
The balance of the fee is to be paid at least 10 days before arrival date.
Any cancellations within 10 days of occupation date are non-refundable.
A 20% administration fee will be levied on cancellations, other than above.
Check-in is between 2 – 6 pm. Cottages must be vacated by 12 noon on date of departure (Sundays by 5pm).
All visitors to the farm do so at their own risk and the owners cannot be held responsible for any damage, loss, theft or injury to persons, possessions and vehicles.
